RFP - Receivable Finance Programming Reporting Project
Project involved transferring 32 reports from file system to an online page called Report Viewer in the RFP Application.
Crystal Reports and Java Reporting Framework to generate both scheduled (daily, monthly, weekly) and adhoc reports.
Database was DB2, and worked on data retrieval and updating for generating reports in .pdf, .xlsx format via Crystal Reports.
Wrote Shell Scripts for running the program at midnight for scheduled reports, and on adhoc basis for other reports.
Co-ordinated with business and got necessary approvals on product documentation, conducted weekly meetings with the UK based business partners for the same.
Fixed defects raised by the testing team while system testing and conducted Manual and Unit tests before handing the feature to the testing team via Git.
Project 2 - Migration of Legacy System to a web application in Angular 4 and RestFul API
Building the LMI Application in Angular
Rebuilding a legacy application (LMI (Ledger Master)) to a web application RFP2 using Angular 4 and Java.
Worked in agile scrums having two week sprints as a part of the development team.
Communicated with business and business analysts over user stories, tracked them on Rally.
Developed front end pages for invoice discounting, customer, debtor and Reserves and Discounts.
Developed back end logic in Java and data was transferred to web pages in json format using RestFul API.
Database used was PostgreSQL, worked don data retrieval, updating.
Fixed defects raised by the testing team, fixed data defects and created dummy data based on application logic and conducted Manual and Unit tests before handing the feature to the testing team via Git.
